Peet’s Coffee

My objective for this project was to evolve the Peet’s coffee brand while keeping the original core values and morals. Also, reach out to a broader audience in the US and become more inclusive to people of all cultural/economic/educational/gender backgrounds. I proposed bringing various artisan design elements to the branding such as incorporating my illustration for much of the identity. Since Peet’s prides itself as being a brand that treats it’s coffee making as an art form rather than just a product for profit, the illustration/pattern/photo styles complemented their philosophy. Peet’s evolution is more inclusive, bringing the communal element back to the coffee shop and company.
